This marks the first entry in my personal diary.

I am thinking about the continent of Africa right now.

I am interested to see what stronger intra-trade results in, and if the respective nations come to a general agreement, how that will turn out for the continued improvement of Africa. It was a somewhat solemn fact that I came across that approximately 15~18% of Africa's goods are exported among the nations whilst 80% percent of the african goods are exported internationally. This idea of relying on international trade for R A W Exports, leads to less prosperity and common wealth for the respective nations.

Apparently this sentiment I have is beginning to be more widespread throughout the African Diaspora though, so that is nice. I think... While Sub Sahara Africa, and by extension, northern Africa are the most culturally and ethnically diverse continent in the world, it is somewhat embittering to know that African Nations would rather rely on external influences that for the most part don't mean them any good and haven't ever historically rather than encourage intercontinental trade. Perhaps african countries could start requesting more goods such as steel and machinery to build domestic factories which would likely create more jobs and less reliance on importing finished goods.

I would like to vist Kampala one day though. I think Uganda is to me what Japan is to Otakus and Rome & Greece are to history nuts.

Yesterday was slightly more busy than usual and I encountered two situations that were 'new' experiences. An elderly church lady, who was very sweet came asking for me to make copies for her. I agreed to help, but after a while her charm began to evaporate because she kept asking for more and more, I eventually had to make up a lie and tell her that other people had to use the device, which wasn't really a lie within itself because another person did indeed have to use the device. Perhaps it is more accurate to say that I added a lie to get her to end her session. Just before closing time, approximately 2 min before clocking out, and after a the computers and devices were shut off, a person came walking in asking for a print job. I can tell she knew we were closing, so she was tryin' to look 'cute' so I could break down and do the job for her (that was not happening). based on her question, "Where's your supervisor?" after declining her request, I believe that she is about to come for me. I am kind of nervous, but my understanding of the policy is that customers can't be in the building prior to or after closing so I think I'll be fine. At least I hope.

On the other hand, I have been listening to 4Hero and Underground Resistance lately. "Timeline" from UR was a very classic 90s sounding track and "Bed Of Roses" from 4hero was pretty humourous with the lyric "baby daddy always lyin'" I loved the smooth, complex, disrespectful, yet elegant drums in the back which made the track 100 times more fun to bounce to on my bed. I discovered Ursula Rucker because of 4Hero and I was amazed at her work. I think she would make a great collaboration with someone like Kendrick Lamar or Jean Grae, or maybe what I mean really, is that I think they would really enjoy her stuff, perhaps...?

As for my usual genres that I listen to, I have been getting less enjoyment out of both listening and Comp./Arr V G M. I remembered this "Ghostly Field Club" GFC_14 inspired work that I created some time ago that I got some surprise from listening to after a while. The melody @ 1:19 is very nice. My understanding of ZUNs early Windows work was that he utilized a lot of repetition with main melodies at the beginning or close to the introduction which really drove home character motifs, i.e: Remilia, Yuyuko, Kaguya, Eirin and to my theory made their themes very, if not the most memorable among TH fans. (This is also what Toby Fox does a lot which has similar effects on Fans of both of their works). Think Eirins theme and the trumpet part that plays for 2 phrases before replacing that trumpet with a piano/organ that plays for an additional two phrases. I think this was present in his early CDs as well and that is what I tried to emulate. In more modern TH music starting from TH_10 and onwards, I began hearing that main melodies/motifs where beginning to be shifted from the very beginning towards the end of the Track. (This was likely for greater climax) with examples including Suwa Foughten Field, Cosmic Skyscraper, and to some extent Nuclear Fusion. I think this has remained for the most current TH games up to TH20.

I attempted to "distribute" the ver 0.01 Prototype Version of K-Club 4 @ the Spring Craft Expo Fair earlier this year. I only sold 5 copies in total for a revenue of 5$ (lol) but perhaps this was not in vain. I used this customer service "experience" I got at the expo to play up my customer service skills to get the current job I have now. Once I get off my probation, I would like to try again, maybe this time at an event like "Dream Con" or "Mega Con Orlando" (which is much closer to me, but expensive as hell) , but even then, I don't think it would really sell at places like that. I would like to go to Dream Con or Mega Con in general, even as just a visitor because that would be cool to see Fandom Culture (I wouldn't consider myself apart of any Fandom, so it would be a new experience for me)

If there was a more grassroots based festival geared towards fan fiction instead of being reduced to an alley, that would be an ideal place. Maybe it just dosen't sell at all?, well in any case, I would like to thank myself for doing this because I got a job!.

Today I woke from a strange dream. I went to a restsurant called "RED ROCKET CHILI" and the mascot was Edwinba holding a bowl of chili (instead of throwing a box of popeyes) painted on the side of the building. I don't think about my OCs much as they are primarily made to fill slots for my game projects so dreaming about him was out of left field. Anyways, I am in the process of making sense of why the characters appear and how their existence influences the overall tone of the world they inherit but I have played around more with scientific explanations about the world. For example, kW of heat that they generate when in battle. They produce up to 10,000kW of heat when engaged in a duel which is why when some one loses, they explode or as I see it, they "Internally Combust". They don't have enough energy to maintain such a state and as you know, such a high output of energy would result in a normal human exploding.

Other than that, I read the first three volumes of CLOCK STRIKER and I really enjoyed it. For some reason when I see old ladies in fiction getting beat up, I find that humurous (not in a psychopathic way) so when philomena clock was getting packed up, I couldn't stop laughing. I love cast though and I wouldn't dream of watching her get beat up. I also grew fondness for volker. I don't typically enjoy reading manga or american comics so this is new for me.

I continued working on the project and I successfully added power point consumption for the secondary shot state. While I was implementing that, I also decided to add an enemy damage multiplier in addition to the player damage multiplier for the respective player characters. This was obviously because Mou is still busted and I added that so Eddy would have a chance to compete with him (lol). It some what brings the BoP to a more level playing field because afterall, Mou is the only character with a Homing Standard Shot and he is the quickest. When I use him, I am able to clear the boss fights in seconds. I am starting to worry though, because I believe something that I am doing is contributing to higher Memory Usage. Surely it can't be simple multiplication but perhaps it is how the field is referenced that is taking more power, but I doubt that such a reference would even take up RAM if at all. The reason why I mentioned that is beacuse I noticed a drop in FPS as I was testing so there is that. Additionally, I changed the name of Mou's special to "Kishnawi's Magic Square" which sounds much more cool than "On the Pulse of Morning". Kishnawi was a Fulani Mathematician that specialized in magic squares and he managed to get to the order of Eleven, (I don't know what that means but it seems cool). Referencing obscure West African history and mathematicians in a game that specializes in cute men...what is this "K-Club" exactly...?

Currently, Mou's enemy damage multiplier sits at 0.91 (reducing the damage output) while Eddy's sits at 1.9 so the difference is tremendous, and even then, Mou is still catching bodies, or perhaps snatching souls is a more nice way to put it. Overall, Edwinba is given a plethora of advantages such as greater charge rate, lower damage intake rate, higher enemy damage multiplier and yet Ed is still lagging behind Mou. It's is like comparing the Toyota GT-One to a McLaren F1 GTR, apart of the same GT category but worlds away in Laptimes at the circuit De La Sarthe and reliability. Edwinba's enhancements make him much more durable but he just feels so slow. I kind of like it that way though, it feels like it gives the characters a Personality beyond explicitly mentioning them through dialogue.

I managed to successfully clear all three stages with Mou today without a continue while I am at work. I did it with the Explosion Prone character that dies almost immediately. I just managed to beat Edward before I was going to die, with 4.6% health left. I haven't gotten a "1CC" in a while ever since I modified the AI shot rate to be a Random Value from 1.7 to 5.6, (It gives a more "Human"-like player to battle against) this makes the boss battles noticably more difficult from the Early Prototype Version meaning I frequently find myself using continues now. I think the biggest coin sucker of most in the game is Edward's 2nd Evasive Attack, "Tukur's Lamentation" solely because The trains come at you with no sound, (this will be updated ASAP, I am trying to rip the assets from Midnight Club 3 to use for a train sound). That attack has taken plenty of Credits from me, so I will probably adjust it in the future.

On the other hand, working a front desk job can be tiring. I hate when I greet a person only to be looked at crazy and then ignored. To solve this problem, I resorted to simply giving a head-nod and smiling. It can be even more esteem crushing when you see your coworkers getting a more pleasurable reaction than you when they give greetings. Of course I don't let this feeling lead to treating someone differently, because thats childish but on the other hand, I don't go out of my way to acknowledge them unless they need something.

I was opening up the facility today. Not even the first step and I already saw a spicy taki chip left the floor (probably from yesterday). Why can't some people have a little more respect for their surroundings? Well, it's not my place to judge but It does get frustrating having to pick up trash after somebody. Especially when they are asked not to eat in that area. I wonder if I have any habits or tendencies that grinds other peoples gears? (Most likely)

10:30

I decided to get rid of the enemy damage multiplier on the character fields after all. It was redundant and I realized that I already came up with a more direct solution. I just severely weakened the damage of the Homing Shots, (the damage multiplier is reduced down to just 30% of a standard bullet). This approach seemed to work as Mou is not killing bosses almost instantly now, but I will continue to tweak him until he feels somewhat equal to Ed. On the otherhand, Ed is catching bodies now. I blew Ferry up just before his theme got to the main chorus.

Some two weeks ago, I had a meeting on friday that covered the current tax cuts that my particular employer was facing. As most young people do, I didn't really pay attention to what these tax cuts entailed as I was just there to do a job and go home. It wasn't until one of my coworkers told me that because I was getting off my probabtion just in the nick of time, I would be "Spared" from being let go because of the cuts on property taxes since those are usually the first to go in a termination season. Granted, it is still a sinking boat to be in but I am potentially much luckier than my peers who were hired slightly later than I was. I found out that the FL Gov. decided to do one last hurrah and make a statement to cut property taxes crippiling funding for local county governments. If fate decides to have me lose my job, I will have been greatful for getting my first taste of full-time "adulting." Perhaps I should start looking for a different Job.

While going through older songs, I stumbled across this theme that I used for K-Club 2. I was happy to see that It fit well with the Phantasmagoria like game play, but it infact was a mixture between a PoDD song and Steel of Destiny from TF V so that is probably the reason it sounded "STG-Esque". Furthermore, the original version of this was a Song made in MML and remade as an SC-88Pro arrangement so it feels like STG in the DNA of it. STAGE_3.mp3 I believe this one is 2~3 years old? by this time, the faults of this song are very noticable (towards the end).
